Tell us a little bit about yourself, and perhaps 1 thing people might be surprised to know
I am married to the best man that I know and I am a mom to two amazing young men. I was a stay at home mom for 18 years and just recently started working outside the home. My passion is helping women feel good about themselves no matter where they are in life, no matter their size and no matter their financial status. One thing you might be surprised to learn about me is that I have the same thing for breakfast every single day. I love crunchy peanut butter on toast with a cup of chai tea.

When did you first start using Saranghae?
I started using Saranghae in the fall of 2017.

What product could you not live without?
Moisturizer! My skin would be so dry without it and I don’t like that feeling. I moisturize my face in the morning and at night and I put body lotion on everyday. It’s so important for youthful looking skin.

What major change have you seen in your complexion from using Saranghae?
I feel like my complexion is brighter, more vibrant.

What are your thoughts on Korean Beauty?
Korean Beauty seems to be cutting edge. I love that they use natural plants and herbs to create amazing skincare.

Why did you start a blog?
I started blogging as something fun for myself, but I also wanted to show women that you can look cute and stylish at any age and budget. Most of the bloggers seemed to be young and wearing things that were not practical for my lifestyle. I was/am a mom and I didn’t work outside of the home; I didn’t dress up or wear high heels everyday; but I also didn’t wear sweatpants every day of the week. It’s important to take care of yourself and look nice because you will feel better about yourself. In my 18 years of being a stay at home mom, I learned that if I stayed in pj’s or sweats everyday I lacked motivation and just felt blah. I didn’t want that for myself or for other women. It’s also important to note that looking nice doesn’t have to cost a fortune. I didn’t have a lot of money to spend on clothes for myself, so I learned to shop sales, consignment stores and Goodwill. I also learned how to shop my closet by pairing things together that I had never tried before. It was exciting and I wanted to share this with other women.

How important is skincare to you?
Skincare is extremely important to me. When I was in my 20’s I didn’t think about skincare, but as I got older I realized how important it is. I am a firm believer in sunscreen during the day and removing all traces of makeup at night… and then the most important step, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Elemental Essence or Pore Refining Charcoal Mask?
Definitely the Pore Refining Charcoal Mask

The airline loses your luggage except for one fashion item & one skincare item, what would they be?
My one fashion item would be an easy, casual dress. You will always look put together in a dress and it can be dressed up or down. My skincare item would have to be moisturizer! If I don’t do anything else in the morning when I wake up, I always moisturize!

What is some self-love advice you would give to your younger self?
Take care of your skin! Wear sunscreen and cleanse your face everyday.
